5.6 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Kashmir, Tremors Felt In Srinagar: Reports

A strong earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted Kashmir valley on Tuesday night.

The earthquake struck southwestern Kashmir at 10:17 PM local time, reported EMSC.

The depth of the quake, according to EMSC, was10 km.

It struck 110 km northwest of Srinagar and 72 km north west of Bandipora.
