The strike of NHM staff has severely hit patient care across the district as most of the healthcare solely depends on NHM staff.
Deputy commissioner Bandipora, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary said that they have asked the NHM them to report back immediately.
“NHM is a central scheme and government of Jammu and Kashmir is actively considering demands of NHM staff as already done for ReTs. Contribution of NHM staff is immense. However, continuing strike despite government efforts and during a calamity is uncalled for, ” he said.
