Pulwama: Clashes broke out between youth and government forces near the site of gunfight at Ratnipora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Witnesses said that youth hit the streets and threw stones on the forces deployment.
They said that forces retaliated by firing tear smoke shells, triggering clashes.
Earlier, a gunfight broke out between militants and forces following a cordon and search operation in the village.
