A gunfight broke out between militants and the government forces in Mir Mohalla area of Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Monday.
A police spokesman said that a firing exchange between militants and the forces took place in Tral area of Awantipora.
He said the forces have cordoned off the area. “Further details are awaited,” he said on Twitter.
