Panchkula, March 20: A Special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court here on Wednesday acquitted all the accused in the Samjhauta blast case.

The main accused in the case Swami Aseemanand, Lokesh Sharma, Kamal Chauhan and Rajinder Chaudhary were present in the court.

The court dismissed the application of a Pakistan-based advocate and witness in the Samjhauta blast case filed through Indian lawyer and social activist Momin Malik.

Momin said he had filed an application in the Punjab and Haryana High Court for directing the NIA court not to pronounce the judgement in the blast case before he could file the appeal in the higher court against the dismissal of his application.

Momin Malik had filed application under Section 311 on March 14. He said he had brought forth the negligence of both the Indian High Commission as well as the Pakistan High Commission in delivering the summons this his client Rahila, a Pakistani witness, whose father had died in the Samjhauta blast on February 18, 2007.

He said he would consult his client and if she asks to file application in the high court, he would move the high court.
