Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday identified the two militants who were killed in a gunfight with the government forces in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik indentified the militants as Ali and Hubaid of Pakistan.
He said that both slain militants belonged to Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) outfit.
Two militants and a minor boy were killed during the gunfight at Mir Mohalla in Hajin.
The gunfight had erupted on Thursday afternoon and ended this morning with the death of both the militants.
An official said that the charred bodies of both the militants and a 12-year-old boy were recovered during the searches.
