SVEEP awareness programmes held at Reasi
REASI, MARCH 22: A series of activities under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programmes were organised here today by the district administration.
The activities included street play and a rally which were aimed at encouraging judicious participation in the electoral process by the masses under the voters’ awareness programme.
ACD Reasi, Dr Sunil Sharma; DPO Reasi, Parvinder Kour; BDO Reasi, Sanjeev Sharma; BDO Pouni, OP Bhagat and a large number of locals were present on the occasion.
The locals, through the medium of the street play, were encouraged to vote without any external influence and pressure. They were also told to elect honest and dedicated representatives only.
The Day’s activities came to a close by a pledge in which all the participants vowed to vote and encourage others to vote.
