Jammu and Kashmir Peoples’ Movement (JKPM) on Monday launched the ‘Public Reach-out’ campaign from the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir’s Kupwara.
The aim of the campaign is to understand the people’s grievances, demands and problems, said a JKPM spokesman, in a statement.
He said the primary task of the campaign is to bring “social awareness”, which is viewed as the precursor for the political revolution that the party has envisioned.
“The party will reach out to all the villages and remote areas of the state to give them a say in determining their future, development and prosperity,” he said.
The spokesman said that Shah Faesal-led JKPM team visited various villages and held interactions with the delegations from Bumhama, Dodawan, Nag Sarai, Mudmadu, Thyan, Huayhama, Hayhama B, MerNag, Kupwara town, Doniwari, Wowura, Chepora, Chaiwan and Mudanpora.
