3-members of Kaushal gang arrested in Rewari

Chandigarh, March 25 – Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Haryana Police has arrested threemembers of notorious Kaushal gang, involved in extortion and murder incidents, along with illicit weapons from Rewari.

While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that a car, two country made pistols, a ‘desi katta’ and 10 live cartridges have been recovered from their possession.

 

The arrested accused identified as Jitender alias Jitu and Gurpreet alias Jatta, both resident of Harinagar in Gurugram and Rahul alias Banjara, a native of Bhawani Enclave. The members of Kaushal gang were involved in various cases of extortion and other criminal activities in Rewari and other districts of Haryana.

 

He said that police had arrested all the accused from car during a night checking drive near Garhi Bolani road, Sector-18. They were produced in the court, which remanded them to two-day police custody.
