Haryana Police has cracked the double murder case with in 12 days with the arrest of 11 members of Bawaria gang including 3 women allegedly involve in killing of 2 persons near Pindarsi railway line in district Kurukshetra on May 22, 2018. While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that following the instructions of Director General of Police, Mr BS Sandhu to act tough against crime and criminal activities, the gang members were arrested by Kurukshetra police from different states in the country as all were fled away after committing crime to escape from police. Raja Ram and Arjan were beaten to death by these accused near Pindarsi railway track on May 22 while another Kuldeep was severly injured. Dozens of sheep belonging to the deceased were run over by a train on the same day. A case was registered in GRP police station in this connection. Later it was handed over to Kurukshetra police.

He said that Harkesh Bagri alias Ramesh Chand was arrested from district Jhangoli in Himachal Pradesh, Yad ram alias Begu of Jaipur arrested from Jalandhar, Ram Lal, Kamlesh, Ramesh Kumar, Bani Singh, Meera Devi, Mathura, all hails from Rajasthan were arrested from Goverdhan UP. Mukesh Kumar and Barkha both from Rajasthan were arrested from Kullu and Jhangoli in Himachal Pradesh whereas Pokariya of Morapatti was arrested from Delhi. One accused was in a hurry yo leave for Nepal.

He said that 6 police teams with the help of cyber cell and CCTV footage conducted raids at various locations to identify the accused. Acting swiftly, police teams nabbed 11 members of gang from different locations and brought them up in Kurukshetra.

During interrogation, it was revealed that all accused had a plan to loot sheep at midnight. After committing crime all fled away using different modes of transport including train.

He said that as per CCTV footage, involvement of 17 people were expected including 12 male and 5 females. Out of which 8 male and 3 females have already been nabbed. The arrested members are being interrogated for more information about their gang and efforts were on to arrest 6 more members.
