J&K: The armies of India and Pakistan on Friday targeted each other’s positions along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

An army official said that Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation in Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors of the district at 7:30 am.

He said the Pakistan army used small arms and mortars to target Indian positions.
