Kharar, March 29: Punjab woman health officer Neha Shori was shot dead at Kharar on Friday. Neha was present at a chemical laboratory which is situated at Kharar when an unknown man came and fired a shot at the officer. It has been learnt that the man, Maninder Singh, who shot Neha basically hailed from Bathinda and runs a chemist shop in Ropar.
However, the man who tried to escape from the location, later shot himself too.
Shori died after the incident while the man is seriously injured and is undergoing a treatment at Max hospital, Mohali.
