PARENTS ORIENTATION HELD AT JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU
Studies show that when families are involved in the education of their children in positive ways, the children maximize on their untrapped potentials and are more regular to school and demonstrate positive attitude and behavior. A student’s academic and all-round development is not just up to the school only; the parents need to be involved at every step so as to keep track of the progress their ward is making over the academic year.
Keeping this in mind, Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu organized Parent Orientation Programme 2019-20 for two days i.e. 29th March’2019 & 30th March’2019. The resource person for this programme was Dr. Chand Trehan, a renowned Psychologist and a well known counselor. The intend behind the programme was to understand the importance of Parent & teacher in a child’s growth. The parents were welcomed by Mrs. Rohini Aima, Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the school by walking through the vision and philosophy of the school and also ensuring the parents that their wards will be groomed into good citizens.
At the same time a presentation was given by a resource person from ORAHI, a bus tracking security system by which Parents can track the route of the Bus of their ward.
The programme was a great success as the parents were satisfied about their child’s growth and also were happy that their children are in safe hands. The Vote of thanks was conveyed by all the 4 Co-ordinators of the school.
