DEA Udhampur conducts SVEEP quiz competition
UDHAMPUR, MARCH 30: District Election Authority, Udhampur organized a quiz competition on Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme under the overall supervision of District Election Officer, Dr. Piyush Singla at DC Office Complex here today.
More than 66 participants from different Government educational institutions participated in the contest.
Addressing the students, Deputy District Election Officer, Dr. Kusum Chib, congratulated the participants and said that the main aim of organizing the quiz competition is to generate awareness among the student fraternity and to strengthen the roots of democracy by motivating the young voters to enroll themselves for voting.
In the quiz competition, Government High School Jib and Government HS Chenani were adjudged first position holders while Government High School Kulwanta and Government High School, Ghordi clinched the second position. Government High School Jaganoo and Government High School Majalta bagged 3rd position.
