The government forces on Sunday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Qazigund area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official said that the CASO was launched in Panzath following inputs about the presence of militants in the village.
He said that the CASO was jointly launched by the army, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
The search operation was going on when this report was being filed.
