HANDWARA, APRIL 05: General Observer for the Assembly Constituencies Handwara and Langate, Gurpreet Khaira today held separate meetings at the respective constituencies to review preparedness for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The Observer had the meetings with the Additional Deputy Commissioner Handwara (ARO -Handwara AC), Superintendent of Police Handwara, Chief Agriculture Officer Kupwara (ARO Langate AC), heads of various teams constituted for the purpose of ensuring smooth conduct of the upcoming Lok Sabha Election.
During the meeting, the Observer held thorough discussions on various issues regarding the upcoming elections. The AROs and the Superintendent of Police apprised the chair of their preparedness going into the poll on April 11.
The Observer also had fruitful interactions with the under training presiding and polling officers at Handwara in order to boost their morale.
