An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) trooper was injured after the rifle of his colleague went off accidentally in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.
Sources said that the trooper got injured when the rifle of one of his colleagues went off accidentally and a bullet grazed his shoulder.
He was shifted to a local army hospital where he is under treatment and is stated to be stable.
The trooper was deployed in Mendhar area of Poonch for election duty.
