SHOPIAN, APRIL 09: The Supplementary randomization of Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) and Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) for Assembly Constituencies, Wachi and Shopian was held today here at Shopian under the supervision of the District Election Officer (DEO) Dr Owais Ahmad.
On the occasion, the DEO highlighted the importance of the randomization process to ensure free and fair polls with no human intervention.
Among others, Additional District Development Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Returning Officers, Nodal Officer for EVM, Nodal Officer for SVEEP, Deputy DEO, Nodal Officer for Computerization and representatives of various political parties were present on the occasion.
