Srinagar: Train service was suspended for “security reasons” in Kashmir valley on Thursday, where polling is being held amid tight security arrangement in Srinagar parliamentary constituency.

The polling was dull and mobile internet services were suspended. Hurriyat leaders have given a strike call in poll bound areas.

“We have suspended train service in Kashmir valley after an advisory was received from authorities, including police,” a railway official said.
