Patiala, April 29:With a score of 100 percentile, Patiala’s Jayesh Singla secured an all-India fourth rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main), the results of which were declared late on Monday evening.
Eighteen-year-old Jayesh, a Class-12 student of Apollo Public School, was among 15 students who had topped the country from among 8.74 lakh who appeared for the exam. Jayesh did his matriculation from Yadavindra Public School and had prepared for the exam for two years in Chandigarh. He aspires to be a computer programmer. His father Dr Ajay Singla is a paediatrician in Patiala and mother, Dr Monika Singla, a gynaecologist. Talking to media, Dr Monika said: “Jayesh is very hard working. His ability to manage time wisely helped him achieve success.”
