New Delhi,May 4: Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal, while campaigning for a party candidate, on Friday mocked BJP candidate Manoj Tiwari.

Manoj Tiwari, who is contesting from North East Delhi again, is pitted against three-time Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit and the Aam Aadmi Party’s Dilip Pandey.

Hitting out at Manoj Tiwari, Arvind Kejriwal said that the sitting MP had not done any work in his constituency in the past five years.

In his speech, Arvind Kejriwal said that Manoj Tiwari knows how to dance very well. In comparison AAP candidate Dilip Pandey cannot dance but knows how to work very well, Kejriwal said.

“Manoj Tiwari knows how to dance very well. Pandey ji does not know how to dance but he knows how to work,” Arvind Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal also said, “This time, vote for the one who will work, not the one who knows how to dance.”

Arvind Kejriwal underlined the importance of the 2019 general elections and said people should be careful who they would vote for.

“See what work your MP has done in the constituency. Vote for ‘kaam’ and not for ‘naam’,” the AAP chief Arvind kejriwal said.

Manoj Tiwari on Saturday responded to Arvind Kejriwal’s remarks and said that he had insulted people of ‘purvanchal’ and will have to face the consequences of his remark.

“By abusing me, he has directly insulted the people of ‘purvanchal’ and the same people will now show him what the consequences of his remarks will be,” Manoj Tiwari said.

Delhi goes to polls in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha election on May 12.
