Srinagar, May 13 : A three-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on May 08. The accused has been arrested by the police. Hurriyat (M) chairman and the chief cleric of Jammu and Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq while condemning the rape of a minor girl in Bandipora on Monday appealed people to maintain unity and vigil.
“Fervent Appeal to all peple of Kashmir to maintain unity and vigil especially in view of mischievous forces waiting to create a sectarian divide out of this most reprehensible crime against a child which is indeed a crime against all humanity. All of Kashmir stands in unison (sic),” tweeted the Mirwaiz.
