Chandigarh, May 16:A helpline number of National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) for assisting students in seeking admission to Class XI would become operational from May 20.Students can call on the helpline number for assistance between 9 am and 5 pm on all days (except Saturday and Sunday). The helpline would be managed by professionals. Besides the NIELIT Centre, help desks would be set up at 20 government schools.
The UT Education Department today rolled out the centralised admission schedule for the first and second counselling in 40 government senior secondary schools. As per the schedule, the prospectus would be made available online from May 20 onwards.
Registration Form can be filled online at www.chdeducation.gov.in. The registration forms can be submitted at six government schools including GMSSS 20-D, GMSSS 37-D, GMSSS 38(W), GMSSS 46, GSSS Mauli Jagran (V) and GMSSS-MHC.
There would be only one registration form for all the streams.
