Notorious drug peddlers arrested by Kishtwar police, 02 Arrested

Continuing its drive against the drug smugglers, Kishtwar police today arrested two more drug peddlers and recovered 370 tablets of TRM-Spas (Tramadol) from their possession.
Acting on a specific information police team led by SHO Police Station Kishtwar Inspector Suraj Pathania and I/C PP Hidyal SI Rajesh Kumar conduct a raid in Sangrambata area and arrested 02 persons namely 1.Akshay Shan S/O Kulbir Shan R/O Kuleed 2. Mohd Anzer Beigh S/O Ghulam Qadir Beigh R/O Beighpura Cherhar and recovered 370 Tablets of TRM-Spas (Tramadol) these tablets are sedative in nature and the persons arrested used to sell the contraband to youth especially students for addiction against huge payment.
Kishtwar Police has registered a case , FIR No. 95/2019 U/S 8/20/21 , under NDPS act at police station Kishtwar against the accused and is investigating the case.
According to reliable sources, with the arrest of these two peddlers police is likely to get information about other peddlers in the city leading to more arrests in the near future.
