Training on ‘First Aid’ organized at DPL Doda
DODA MAY 22: District Police Doda today organized a day long training programme for Jawans and Officers on First Aid to enable them to deal with different types of health emergencies.
The training was held in collaboration with SDRF (Doda) and Health Department. The training programe was attended by all supervisory officers including SHOs, I/C PPs and other ranks of District Police Doda.
A team of Doctors and paramedical staff led by Doctor Waleed Khawar Balwan, Assistant Professors Government Medical College Doda provided both theoretic and practical understanding of different types of emergencies viz Heart Attack, Snake Bites, Fractures, rescue of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) victims, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and Drowning.
Practical demonstrations were performed with the help of Sr. Pharmacist Javeed Iqbal Zargar and other officials of MI Room DPL Doda as well as volunteers from the Police Department.
The staff of SDRF (Doda) also delivered valuable lectures dovetailed with practical demonstrations. The practical demonstrations of the concepts helped a lot to inculcate the concept into the minds of the trainees.
An interaction session was also held after the culmination of the program in which the trainees were asked to raise queries to clear their doubts.
