Rajouri admin discusses MGNREGA Convergence Plan 2019-20
RAJOURI, MAY 22: District Administration Rajouri today discussed MGNREGA convergence plan 2019-20 here at a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad.
The officers of different departments associated with the plan to be executed by Rural Development Department discussed the nature of works to be carried out under the convergence mode.
The Assistant Commissioner Development and the Departmental Heads briefed the meeting about proposals being worked out for creation of community assets.
Threadbare discussion was held with valuable suggestions from Irrigation, Sericulture, Agriculture, Fisheries, Horticulture, Education, Youth Service Sports, ICDS and RDD departments.
The District Development Commissioner asked the concerned executing agencies to submit their action plan within one week to finalize the convergence plan.
After a detailed discussion with all the line departments, DDC directed them to ensure the timely completion of the ongoing works taken under convergence and formulation of new convergence plan in consultation with RDD and submit the same within one week.
