When Smriti Irani came to Asha Bhosle’s rescue after PM oath ceremony

New Delhi, May 31:Legendary singer Asha Bhosle was one of the Bollywood celebrities who attended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s oath-taking ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday. 

However, as the grand ceremony came to an end, the singer was stranded and left all alone. She needed help to get back home. 

The 85-year-old singer shared the details of the incident and revealed how Smriti Irani came to her rescue.

The singer shared a picture with Irani and wrote: “I was stranded in the crazy rush post PM oath ceremony. No one offered to help me except Smriti Irani who saw my plight & made sure I reached home safely. She cares & that’s why she won.”

Smriti responded to Asha’s kind words and commented with a humble hand joined emoticon on the tweet.
