DDUGKY, HIMAYAT organise awareness camp
REASI JUNE 4: Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY) in association with HIMAYAT, organised an awareness camp under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Indu Kanwal Chib, here today.
The event, organised with an aim to generate awareness among the participants about various courses related to hospitality and IT industry being provided under government’s initiative, was attended by students of the different schools of the districts.
State Head of SLC, Praveen Kotwal and Programme Officer, NIRDPR, Sumit Mahajan presented a detailed presentation on the initiative.
The key features of the initiative include free boarding and lodging during the entire course of training at Hyderabad, computer training as well as soft skills training, books and uniforms in addition to various other facilities. Besides, the candidates are also being provided 2 months on-job training after the course period.
Pertinently, for availing benefit of the scheme a candidate must be at least 8th pass.
