Chandigarh, June 7:French tennis player Nicholas Mahut was consoled by his young son after he lost a crucial match which ended his run in the French Open on Friday last.
In a video that is doing the rounds on social media, a visibly emotional Mahut can be seen sitting when his son runs across the court to pacify the player. The young boy then hugs his father and whispers something in his ear.
The emotional moment won applause from the audience and left even Mahut’s opponent in the match, Argentina’s Leonardo Maye, teary-eyed. In the video, the father-son duo can then be spotted walking off the court hand in hand.
