DD Employment listens to issues of Engineers’ SHGs
UDHAMPUR, JUNE 10: Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) Udhampur, Subhash Chander Dogra convened a meeting with Self Help Groups (SHGs) of Engineers here this morning.
During the meeting the Deputy Director enquired about the works executed by these SHGs. He stressed upon the SHG members to expedite allotted works as per guidelines and complete the project within set time frame to arrest time and cost overrun.
The representatives of all the SHGs apprised the Deputy Director about issues hindering smooth allocation and execution of 30% quota of development works including non-allocation of prescribed 30% share by Patnitop Development Authority to SHGs and minuscule quantum of individual works allotted by other departments.
The Deputy Director assured them to take up the issues in the forthcoming quarterly meeting of SGHs to be chaired by District Development Commissioner Udhampur.
