Amarnath yatra: pilgrim from AP, Sevadar of Haryana die

Srinagar, July 4: A woman pilgrim from Andhra Pradesh (AP) and a sevadar from Haryana died due to health problems during the pilgrimage, a yatra official said.

With this a total of two pilgrims and a sevadar have died since the commencement of the annual pilgrimage to holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas from July Ist. The yatra will conclude on August 15.

He said a yatri, identified as Pendliomarri (53), wife of P Shanker Ayan, resident of District Kattapa, AP suffered a massive cardiac arrest at Baltal. She was immediately rushed to medical camps where she was declared brought dead.
