Chandigarh, July 10 :Yograj Singh, father of cricketer Yuvraj Singh, has again lashed out at wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni.

Talking about Ambati Rayudu’s retirement, Yograj urged the batsman to come out of it before bashing Dhoni.

Yograj indirectly blamed Dhoni for Rayudu’s retirement.

Talking to news agency NNIS, Yograj urged Rayudu to fight for his place in the team.

“Rayudu should have played more and shown everyone his quality. These selectors won’t stay forever. The administration will not remain forever, neither will the captain. He should’ve played Ranji, Irani and Duleep trophies, scoring 100s, 200s, 300s not outs. He still has a lot of cricket left in him,” Yograj said in a video interview.

“Rayudu, my son, you took the decision in haste. Come out of retirement and show them what you are capable of. People like MS Dhoni will not remain forever, filth like these will not remain forever,” he added.

Rayudu had announced retirement from all forms of cricket last week after not being called up to India’s World Cup squad.

Rayudu was not included in the 15-man World Cup squad with selectors preferring all-rounder Vijay Shankar in his place. Rayudu was kept on stand-by but Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal were called up after injuries to Shikhar Dhawan and Shankar, respectively.
