New Delhi, July 16: Not just netizens, but even veteran actor Dharmendra took a swipe at BJP MP and wife Hema Malini’s sweeping skills.
Recently, Hema Malini had participated in a cleanliness drive in show of support for the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. As soon as the video surfaced online, Tweeple were quick to point out that the actress-turned-MP’s broom did not even touch the ground and she was trolled massively for this.
And how could Dharmendra miss the opportunity to pull his wife’s leg?When a fan questioned Dharmendra if Hema had ever held a broom, he replied: “Haan, films mein. Mujhe bhi anari lag rahi thi.”
He continued: “Maine magar bachpan mein humesha apni maa ka haath bataya hai. Main jhaadu mein maahir tha. I love cleanliness.”
The user replied to the 83-year-old actor saying: “Indeed Sir!!! Loved your impromptu yet most honest reply!!! Appreciate and respect you.”
