Kishtwar, July 22: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) workers on Monday threaten to court arrest if the FIR registered against the senior party leader and former MLC Firdous Tak was not withdrawn.

Scores of PDP workers assembled outside police station Kishtwar and held a protest in which they accused the administration of working under pressure from a particular political party.

The protesters said they would court arrest en-masse if the FIR was not withdrawn.

On July 20, Jammu and Kashmir Police booked Tak for delivering an alleged ‘provocative speech’ in a protest rally.

Tak along with PDP leaders and party activists had staged a protest in Kishtwar district against the strengthening of Village Defense Committees (VDC) in the area.
