Jaipur, December 18: Around 11 years later, a special court on Wednesday in Jaipur held four guilty for 2008 serial blasts that killed 70 and injured 170 in the pink city.

The court, however, acquitted one accused on the benefit of doubts.

“The four convicts are Mohd Saif, Mohd Sarvar Azami, Saifur Rehman, and Salman, while Shabaz Husain was set free,” the Special Court on bomb blast, Justice Ashok Kumar Sharma, announced.

“The quantum of the judgement would be announced later, may be after two days,” the Special Public Prosecutor Shrichand told The Tribune.

Shahbaz Hussain is likely to be released this afternoon.

The Jaipur bombings were a series of nine synchronised bomb blasts that took place on May 13, 2008. The blast had taken place within a span of 15 mminutes at locations in Jaipur.
