New Delhi, February 14: BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has down heavily at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for a tweet where he criticised the Narendra Modi government over the Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF jawans were killed on February 14, 2019.
Terming the Pulwama attack as a “dastardly attack”, Sambit Patra said Rahul Gandhi is making a “dastardly comment” on the first anniversary of the terror attack.
“That (Pulwama) was a dastardly attack. And this is a dastardly comment. Who Benefitted the most? Mr (Rahul) Gandhi can you think beyond benefits? Of course not. This so-called ‘Gandhi’ family can never think beyond benefits. Not just materialistically corrupt, their souls are also corrupt (sic),” Sambit Patra said in a tweet.
WHAT DID RAHUL GANDHI SAY?
Sambit Patra was responding to a tweet posted by Rahul Gandhi today. In it he wrote: “Today as we remember our 40 CRPF martyrs in the Pulwama attack, let us ask: 1) Who benefitted the most from the attack? (2) What is the outcome of the inquiry into the attack? (3) Who in the BJP government has yet been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack?”
