Chandigarh, February 14: A 31-year-old Punjab judicial magistrate died and three others were injured after their car rammed into an pole on the Sector 16/23 dividing road during the wee hours of Friday.
The injured, including the magistrate, were rushed to Government Multi Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16.
The magistrate, Sahil Singla, was later rushed to PGI where doctors declared him brought dead.
Singla’s friend, a lawyer, was admitted to a private hospital in Mohali.
Sources said the victim was returning from a wedding. Police have initiated an investigation.
