Jammu, 15th Feb.2020: Director School Education Jammu Ms. Anuradha Gupta, today inaugurated the newly constructed Botanical garden along with an ICT Laboratory and a classroom, at Government Higher Secondary School Bhalwal.
Speaking on the occasion, the Director praised the students and the staff members for their efforts as it was visible to her that the school had been transformed by personal interventions and hard labour. She lauded them for using what ever limited resources they had and succeeding in creating a much bigger impact on ground. Speaking to the students, she said that as examinations are near, everyone should ensure to put that extra bit of effort and concentration towards preparations and never lose sight of the goal. She advised the students to never shy away from asking any question from the teachers and asked the staff members to hold doubt clearing sessions before the commencement of the examinations.
The students performed a colorful cultural show on the occasion which started with vandana saraswati.The Principal, GHHS Bhalwal Dr. Kishor Sharma read out the school report on the initiatives taken by the school administration for the last three months for the welfare of the school in general and students in particular.
Joint Director School Education Jammu Mr. Shokat Mehmood, Mr. Balbir Soodan DPO Jammu also spoke to the students on the occasion and admired their efforts in beautifying the school premises and advised them to prepare hard for the coming examinations.
