Chandigarh, February 27: AAP MLAs wore face masks to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Thursday to send the message that the Congress government “was afflicted with coronavirus.”

AAP MLA Aman Arora said he wanted to send across the message that the Congress government was afflicted with coronavirus or ‘karo-na-virus’.

AAP’s jibe came after Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had said that delivery of smartphones, one of the government’s poll promises, had been held up due to coronavirus in China.

Cabinet minister Rana Gurmeet Sodhi objected to AAP MLAs sporting the face mask and said it was against the rules of the House.
