Poonch Administration refutes the video circulating on YouTube channel of “Aaj Tak Jk” regarding outbreak of H1N1 and Influenza
POONCH, APRIL 20: District Administration Poonch today rebutted a video uploaded on a YouTube channel “Aaj Tak JK” regarding influenza and H1N1 virus breakout in district Poonch.
Terming the news item as baseless and concocted Deputy Commissioner, Rahul Yadav has cleared that there are no such cases of the diseases, thus the video has been categorized as fake news.
The DC said that strict action would be taken against the perpetrator of fake news under the concerned law of CrPC of Indian Penal Code and this matter has been reported in the crime Branch.
District Administration further appealed to all the public to stay careful of the rumors and fake news that gets uploaded on social media and refrain from forwarding it. He also advised the public in general and the group admin of the WhatsApp groups/Facebook pages/YouTube channel to get the veracity of the news before uploading.
