In a major decision, Punjab to lift curfew for 4 hours daily

The relaxation will be from 7 am to 11 am; however, curfew will be extended by another 2 weeks after May 3

Chandigarh, April 29: In a major decision, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Wednesday announced to lift the curfew for four hours daily, from 7 am to 11 am.

Shops will open during the curfew relaxation.

In a video message, the Chief Minister announced that there would be no relaxation after 11 am and people would have to return to their homes. He requested the people to cooperate with the administration.

The DCs have been asked to work out the modalities of the four-hour lifting of the lockdown.

The Chief Minister also announced to extend the curfew for another two weeks, after May 3.
