Poonch Administration refutes false news regarding one positive case in district
POONCH, MAY 04: District Administration Poonch refutes the false news running on News Portals and whatsapp groups regarding one positive case of COVID-19 in the district.
District Magistrate Rahul Yadav informed that the news of a person found positive with corona virus in Poonch is false and factually incorrect. He cleared that there has been no positive case of COVID-19 in district Poonch till date.
He further said that the person who is found positive in Srinagar belongs to Poonch but he was residing in Chandigarh and went Srinagar to see his brother who was electrocuted and was under treatment in Srinagar based Hospital.
The DM said that people have started taking lockdown instructions lightly which could be detrimental. He appealed to the public to follow lockdown instructions seriously and maintain social distancing.
