Chandigarh, May 23: Punjab and Haryana High Court has cancelled summer vacations for itself and subordinate courts in Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.
The court said in a notification issued on Saturday: “It is hereby notified for general information that the ensuing ummer vacations in the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh from 01.06.2020 to 26.06.2020 (both days inclusive) stands cancelled and the Court will function with the continuation of present arrangement of filing, listing and hearing of the cases through video conferencing,” the notification said.
It is further notified that the ensuing summer vacations in the Subordinate Courts in the States of Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh from 01.06.2020 to 30.06.2020 (both days inclusive) also stands cancelled and the Courts will function with the continuation of present arrangement of hearing of cases,” the notification said.
