Jammu: Directorate of School Education Jammu , in order to help and counsel the students whose class 10th and 12th results were declared recently, is organising a webinar on the topic ” LIFE BEYOND MARKS” on 3rd of July at 11:30 AM with special focus on dealing with an academic setback in life due to unfavorable examination result.
Director School Education Jammu Ms. Anuradha Gupta has asked all the HOIs and other officials of the Directorate to make it convenient for all the students whose 10th and 12 class results were announced recently and the teacher councillors to join the webinar.
Appealing for participation in the webinar, Ms. Anuradha Gupta announced that, “Every child is precious. If you know any child who is not happy with Board results and needs help, ask (him) to join us ( webinar)”. Mr. Rajesh Vashisth, NCERT counsellor will be the guest speaker for the webinar.
Giving details of the event, Mr. Romesh Sharma, Head Counselling cell, DSEJ divulged that the event will start at 11: 30 AM in which professional psychologists and counsellors such as Shria Abrol, Sheebali Lalotra and Ravneet Kour will address the topics ‘Coping During Stressful Times'( academic setbacks), ‘Real Life Stories’ (Achievers), ‘Off Beat Careers’ (low marks), ‘Managing Procrastination’, ‘Dealing with Distractions’ and ‘Stress Management’ while the key speaker Mr.Rajesh Vashisth will address the topics ‘Life beyond marks’ and ‘Parental Perspective On Marks And Success’.
