Jammu ,May 11: In order to condole the sad and tragic demise of colleagues and staff members, a condolence meeting was held here, today, on 11th of May 2021, at the Directorate of School Education complex, Muthi, Jammu. Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu chaired the condolence meeting which was attended by all the officers and staff members of the Directorate.
4 staff memebers, including Joint Director Mr. O.P. Bhagat, Head Assistant DSEJ, Mr. Sham Parshad , Mr. Bal Bahadur and Mr. Sandeep Kumar, both class IV employees, left this world for their final resting place during the past one week. The past one week coming down very hard on the Education Department, saw at least 5 teachers also lose their lives during the same time period.
A two minutes silence was observed to honour the cherished memories of the deceased colleagues. While expressing grief and shock over the tragic demise, Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma and others prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and forbearance to the bereaved families at this hour of grief.
Expressing solidarity with the families of the deceased, Dr. Ravi Shankar assured that every possible help will be provided to the families of the deceased and passed on appropriate directions to the concerned officers.
Those present in the meeting described the deceased as upright employees of the Directorate and humble and God fearing people who worked to help others during these Covid pandemic times, keeping the faith in humanity alive.
