JAMMU: Directorate of School Education Jammu today organized a district level painting competion for the students of different zones of all the 10 districts of Jammu Division as part of the ongoing 75th Independence Day celebrations. A total of 66 students participated in the event coordinated by the Cultural and Education Cell of the Directorate through virtual mode on the theme ‘Patriotism’.
Director School Education Jammu Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma interacted with students on the occasion and expressed his happiness over the amount of talent students possessed and displayed through their paintings in the competition. Congratulating the student participants for their zeal and patriotic fervor, he said that the Directorate will continue to organise such events in future as well to provide the students with a platform to showcase their talent.
Proceedings of the events were conducted by Ms. Supriya Sharma while Mr. Surjit Singh, Head Cultural and Education Cell presented the formal welcome address. Technical support was provided by Mr. Ashutosh Sharma and Ms. Monika Khosla.
