DSEJ launches enrolment drive supported by Kaiwalya Education Foundation.

JAMMU: Directorate Of School Education Jammu in collaboration with Kaivalya Education Foundation organised  an online session on Enrollment Drive under ECCE project.

25 teachers from 5 winter zones districts attended the session. Deputy Director, (P&S) Ms. Mamta Sharma and Divisional Coordinator ECCE, Ms. Jaswinder Kaur presided the session along with KEF Facilitators.

With this session, DSEJ and KEF have rolled out an Enrollment Drive Campaign under Live Action Project to support 38+ Teachers of 31 winter zone schools.


Teachers along with the concerned school staff will organise door-to-door visits, enrollment rallies, circulate advertisment videos and pamphlets of school and motivate SMCs and other stakeholders for enrolling children to the newly established Kinder Gartens in Jammu division.


Dy. Dir. Ms. Mamta Sharma stressed on motivating parents towards enrolling their wards into government schools which are now well equipped with quality infrastructure and qualified staff, owing to the recent interventions of the Directorate of School Education, Jammu under the able guidance of Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director School Education Jammu.


Ms. Jaswinder Kaur, ECCE expert from DSEJ also shared the details about the infrastructural, financial support being  provided to these schools by Directorate of School Education Jammu and encouraged teachers to showcase such interventions  and work in collaboration with KEF to increase the enrollment in Pre-primary sections.

KEF team rolled out Week-wise Micro-milestones of Enrollment Drive with the defined role of teachers and also deliberated on the aspects where they can support the teachers to lead the change.
