Jammu: On the directions of Principal Secretary to Govt., School Education Department J&K, Sh. B.K. Singh(IFS) and under the able guidance of Director SCERT J&K, Prof. Veena Pandita, a 05 days Capacity Building Training cum Workshop for Key Resource Persons on Content Enrichment in Mathematics for Secondary Level ( 9th& 10th) was organized by Curriculum Development and Studies Wing of SCERT Jammu.
The workshop was inaugurated on 6th of Dec., 2021 by Sh. Surinder Kumar, JD SCERT Jammu Division. He presented his welcome address to greet the participants and group of Resource Persons including Sh. Naresh Jain, Sh. Bhupinder Gupta, Sh. Rohit Sharma, Sh. Jagdish Kumar Panotra and Sh. Ankur Gupta,who actively contributed in imparting the training to participants as per the training schedule devised by Co-ordinator of the programme, Ms. Ashu Magotra.Sr. Academic Officer, SCERT Jammu.
The workshop was aimed at to train and equip 25 Key Resource Persons from 05 Districts of Jammu Division – Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Udhampur and Reasi, in the 1st Phase of Training Programme as per guidelines. The focus was to equip these KRPs with knowledge and skills for clearing all the doubts and plugging all the loopholes existing in the Pedagogy of Mathematics of Secondary Level teachers.
All the participants in the workshop were actively engaged in healthy discussions with Resource Persons and showed an overwhelming, active and constructive response throughout the programme.
Ms. Ashu Magotra with the assistance of Sh. Ravinder Verma Asstt. Co-coordinator, Mr.Yugal Kishore Technical Expert & Ms. Pratibha Jamwal I/C Registration, successfully coordinated the workshop under the supervision of Sh. Kishore Kumar, Associate Prof. SCERT Jammu, who acted as convener of the programme.
The workshop concluded today on 10th of Dec. 2021 with the valedictory function presided by Sh. Kishore Kumar (Associate Professor), Head Curriculum Development and Studies Wing of SCERT Jammu.
