UNIFORM, SHOES, TRACK SUITS AND SWEATERS DISTRIBUTED AMONGST STUDENTS AT GGHSS MIRAN SAHIB, JAMMU
RANGOLI MAKING COMPETITION WAS ORGANISED ON THE OCCASION
JAMMU: Under the supervision of worthy Principal GGHSS Miran Sahib Ms. Mussarat Jabeen uniform, shoes, track suits and sweaters were distributed amongst the poor and needy students of class 9th to 12th in the presence of Staff, SMC and PRI members.
A total of 30 sweaters, 04 uniforms, 01 pair of shoes and 11 track suits were distributed among the students on the occasion.
Chief Education Officer Jammu, Mr. Suraj Singh Rathore appreciated the initiative taken by the Principal and the staff members of the school and said that other schools also should look to help the poor and needy students, keeping in mind the harsh winter weather conditions.
A Rangoli making competition was also organsied on the occasion to help students get in touch with their creative self and to aware them about the rich cultural heritage of India. The competition was organised under the flagship programme ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahostav.
