Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti submitted her resignation to Governor NN Vohra on Tuesday shortly after the Bharatiya Janata Party pulled out of the coalition government, quoting Peoples Democratic Party leader Naeem Akhtar. The PDP has 28 seats in the 87-member Assembly while the BJP has 25.
